First blog entry of 2009

This is my first blog entry for the year 2009 and it was a hectic holiday season where I spent it in the Philippines and few days in Hong Kong. It was my first time to spend holidays in the Philippines in 14 years of working overseas. Can you believe that? I thought it was just yesterday when I left Philippines to work in Kuwait and before I left I told my Mom that I will only work for 2 years and that’s it! But it turned out that it will be more than that! Hahaha. But no regrets!
All I can say is that it was an enjoyable R&R (wink). And I couldn’t ask for more and I only hope that my next R&R this coming April will be as enjoyable as my previous one. Or more enjoyable.
What I’ve learn from my last vacation was that I shouldn’t expect too much in life, because if ever your expectations will not work out then you won’t be that too disappointed. I did hope that all plans will work out but I did not expect too much and it turned out better than what was planned.
This year will be a big change for me, I will be more positive in all aspect of life. It’s hard but it’s doable! Especially when someone is there to guide you.
