Last night I watched a movie titled “Blind Dating”. 

blinddating.jpgThe movie is all about Danny (Chris Pine) an intelligent, confident, handsome young guy who also happens to be blind. Danny refuses to let his visual impairment get in the way of anything. Which is why Danny’s girl-crazy, limo-driving brother Larry is horrified to discover that Danny is still a virgin.  So he was encouraged by his brother Larry to go for a blind date.  Blind date in a literal way. hahahaha.  And that’s where the funny part of the movie began.

When I was watching the movie, I was reminiscing the things that were similar to my experience…..  I guess more on the love life scenes where the lady love is an Indian.

For all of you to know, I did fell in love with an Indian lady who’s from Mangalore and she was a colleague of mine a decade ago.  Yes, a decade ago!  But their relationship in the movie had a happy ending (Oops sorry - Spoiler), unlike ours.  Sigh… :-(

Okay, if you’d like a feel good movie and a good laugh, I recommend Blind Dating.

This movie was released May 11th, 2007 but didn’t do well in box office which raked only $61,877.
It’s rated PG-13 for sexual content and language.
