Pinoys Travel ban in Afghanistan – Update

I don’t know if this is an update since the news article below is dated October 30, 2007.  But, it’s always nice to know that there’s some development on the plea of Filipinos who works in Afghanistan.

Here’s the article from RMN.ph.

“Tiniyak ni Vice President Noli De Castro na aaksyunan nila ang apela ng OFW’s mula sa Afghanistan hinggil sa ban na pinatutupad ng gobyerno para sa pag-trabaho ng OFW’s doon.

Gayunman , nilinaw ni De Castro na pinapayagan pa rin ng gobyerno na makabalik sa nasabing bansa ang OFW’s na nag-re-renew ng kanilang kontrata.

Tiniyak din ni De Castro na pinag-aaralan nila ang pag-alis ng ban sa pagpapadala ng Pinoy workers sa Lebanon.”
