Ski Dubai Resort

Submitted by on February 12, 2009 – 11:53 am3 Comments

I was at the Mall of Emirates last January 5, 2009 with my best friend Lewis.  We went there just to eat Thai food which he was bragging about for some time.  So, he took me there to try their mouth watering food (Oh I love Thai food, hmm) but unfortunately I can’t really enjoy the food because of my braces which I just had 2 weeks before that day.  Darn!!!!  I had to order a softer Thai food instead.

It was my first time in the Mall of Emirates, a huge mall in Dubai, UAE.  And that was the first time I saw the only Indoor Ski Resort in the Middle East – The Ski Dubai Resort.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to try Skiing but I took some photos while we were at the restaurant.  What fascinated me was the view of the restaurant.  While eating you can view the inside of the resort and the people playing on the fake snow.  The next time I will be in Dubai, I’ll make sure that I will try to learn how to ski before I head to Aspen, Colorado.  Lewis might take me there! hahaha….
