Thai Food Cravings in Dubai

Submitted by on May 23, 2010 – 4:45 am4 Comments

My recent vacation started in Dubai, UAE. My friend and I arrived around 5:30 in the afternoon at the Terminal 2 airport and craving badly for Thai food so we went directly to The Blue Elephant Restaurant (Thai Restaurant) located in Al-Bustan Rotana Hotel. We left our luggage at the hotel concierge and sat outside the restaurant until they opened the door around 6:30PM. Luckily, they had a buffet that night. Yum!

I took the liberty to take some photos of the food to show my avid followers (that is you guys hahaha) and heard my friend saying “Can’t you just enjoy the food without taking some photos?” Well, bitchy, bitchy, and bitchy mood? :) I was hitting two birds with one stone that is I am enjoying the food and taking photos for my blog. :)

It was a nice dinner and after having two glasses of white wine I felt tipsy. Well, can’t blame my system since I haven’t had liquor for almost four months.

After the dinner at the Blue Elephant we took a taxi and went to Al-Manzil hotel which is near to the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa. Compared to the room of my friend, I like mine better since it has a nice view and overlooking Burj Khalifa.
