The reason why I don’t like Blogspot.com

I guess some of the bloggers out there will react with my post title, especially the bloggers from blogspot.

I don’t hate Blogspot.com because the truth is I have blogs that are hosted by it. I guess, it’s the blog owners choice why it was customized like that.

Here are some of the reasons:

1. Only bloggers with blogspot account can make comments.

Come on you blogspot bloggers out there. The best way to make our blogs interactive is to have comments right? Unless you don’t want other bloggers or visitors opinion on your blog posts. This is also a way to promote your blogs url.

If I am visitor on your site and I don’t have a blogspot account nor a google mail account, why would I bother to register just to leave a comment? You know what I’ll do? I will leave your blog ASAP!

2. Line spacing between pharagraph.

Another one is when I write a post in blogspot, the line spacing between pharagraph gives me a headache. I know that I made the right spaces but when I hit the preview button, it doesn’t show the right spaces. DUH!

When that happens, I just want to pound my keyboard because of frustratiohs.

I hope blogspot can add a feature of line spacing where you can specify if you want single or double spaces on your post. Like what Microsoft Word does.

That’s all I think for now, but if you have something you don’t like about blogspot please leave a comment.

Please note that I have nothing against Blogspot.com, like what I’ve said - I even use it.

Well, I’m not a professional photographer yet but I’d like to be one.

Regarding your question, I used to have an Olympus camera but not the digital one. Way back then it was the film rolls hahaha. If I were you, since I have a Canon I’d go for it.

the reason why i lke blogspot:

1. Free
2. you can customize your page
3. you can put advertisements

about the comment thing,its the author of that blog decide if he/she will open his/her comment box for members or non members.thanks for your offer about exchanging links.

Hi mrloo,

I think blogspot is just fine cause you can customize almost everything.You can set it up to receive comments from anybody and you can also customize line spacing of your post using line-height tag, pero the best reason talaga is that it’s free…

Reasons why I hate blogspot? OMFG where do I begin?
Well, i am now a wordpress user and so far, I dont regret switching to it and using it for my site.

1. the “read more..” feature needs to be manually set up in blogspot

2. though template styles are aplenty, they all look the same to me, differs only in graphics

3. can’t think of the worst one, but switching is probably the best decision u cud do for both your site and yourself.
